My name is Katie Tidwell and I am from Alabama. I am 17 years old and will be 18 in October. People have called me many things; deranged, a psychopath, strange, weird, off kilter, and other things that mother would not like me to repeat. But I think I am just different. Eccentric, if you will. I have always been fascinated in the supernatural whether it be aliens or faeries, which is why most of my comics have things like ghosts, demons and aliens. I've always loved comics, from the old Marvel comics to things like Jhonny the Homicidal Maniac to even a few mangas(not particularly my cup of tea unless there's a lot of violence in it). I also love animation and I hope to go to a college for the arts when I'm older. I love it when people critique my work so please don't try and spare my feelings in comments. I love to know what people really think of my work and if that means being brutally honest with me then so be it. One thing that ticks me off though is when people compare my art with other well known artists. Like Jhonen Vasquez. I love the dudes comics, but it's really annoying when some people even say that I copy him. By no means do I copy him. That's just insulting for both of us! That as well as H. R. Giger. He's another one of my favorite artists. I don't have anything posted here that resembles his work, but trust me people have commented about that.
